The only Customer-Support related problem that I experienced was when I tried setting up my QWest router to include a Mac in the network. Forgot some password and the dude at the other end gave me a 101 on computers over multiple calls. It's not that other Support teams have been good, just that I dont call them at all. I feel the whole process is designed to discourage customers from using the system.

Felt so very proud! I ended up watching it 3 times so far with different sets of people and also sent it to 3 or 4 people and some of them have visited India but only the North and not the South. It always pisses me off when people think that Taj Mahal and other Mughal architecture is all that India has to offer ... South India is actually so much richer in such things than the North.

Wanting to verify web-chatter, I had rented 'Bangkok Dangerous' over the weekend. Was startled to find that the makers of the Thai movie (The Pang Brothers) had shamelessly ripped Pattiyal, to the last detail (ref: rollover screengrabs below). Mr. Vishnuvardhan (director, Pattiyal), touted to be the next Maniratnam, has been robbed off his credits. A sincere request to Mr.Vishnuvardhan - if you wish to stop this kind of nonsense, sue them! I am sure you wouldn't want to see audience intellect (Thai or Indian) be taken for granted.

It's interesting to note that another movie from Pang Brothers, 'The Eye', was a direct lift from Sneha-starrer , 'Adhu' (2004).

This is late news, yes, but what has prompted me to drop a line about Slingbox here is the fact that the gadget (ranked among Time's Best Inventions of 2005) has been completely developed in Bangalore, India. News to me.
