Balancing act

* The IT revolution created it. India's Automotive industry is ready to adopt. We are talking about success template here. Automotive supply industry is a $1.1 trillion market.

"The country's goal is to grow its fledgling $7 billion auto parts sector by $5 billion a year over the next decade. Such an expansion could create as many as 3 million jobs and attract nearly $50 billion in investment, according to a study by the consulting group McKinsey & Co for India's Automotive Component Manufacturers Association."

* "Born into Brothels" a documentary by Zana Briski (earlier post) which focuses on the other end of spectrum has recently been chosen as the Best Documentary by The National Board of Review of Motion Pictures.

Was compelled to lay the paradoxes together and leave the focus on efforts taken to balance the extremes.

Update:
Link (in the older post) pointing to a picture taken by one of the kids isn't valid anymore. So here's another.

If a pixel were to see and interpret things as I do, and should it express, with a dose of my thoughts and afterthoughts; the flavor of such a talk should be close to one that you find on this page. And yes, cricket being my favorite sport, dont be surprised to find one too many related terms. Pad up is one such!
