Delicious Monster

Here's an app to turn personal collections into a lending library. Be organized and keep track of those stuff friends *borrowed*! Folks who build and own this operate out of a coffee shop in Seattle.

"Matas and Shipley launched the company last year. Living on savings and fueled by coffee, they banged out the software in seven months."

Going by the company's vision, another medium for social networking is in the making.

Do you plan on making a Windows version of this app?
"We don't have any plans for this, currently. It's very unlikely given that the application is very dependent on Mac OS X-only technologies [uses iSight, for eg, to scan barcode off your DVDs, books and stuff]. Porting the application to Windows would require a lot of effort and we simply do not have the resources. Also, we don't like Windows very much." [says]

Meaning, scope for scores of Windows-opportunists out there.

If a pixel were to see and interpret things as I do, and should it express, with a dose of my thoughts and afterthoughts; the flavor of such a talk should be close to one that you find on this page. And yes, cricket being my favorite sport, dont be surprised to find one too many related terms. Pad up is one such!
