Bird's eye view

A thread with wonderful low-altitude aerial photographs.

And another: a black&white photoset on Flickr.

Engadget's Phillip Torrone had a how-to on kite-based altitude-photography.

Finally, a high-flier.

A couple of years back I mistakenly used a black and white film roll in my camera on a trip to DC. People screamed at me but the end result photos had much better depth and clarity than color. Id love to shoot again someday i black and white.

If a pixel were to see and interpret things as I do, and should it express, with a dose of my thoughts and afterthoughts; the flavor of such a talk should be close to one that you find on this page. And yes, cricket being my favorite sport, dont be surprised to find one too many related terms. Pad up is one such!
