Friday, February 25, 2005 Kent County Cricket Ground's tree that became famous for its presence just inside the boundary is no more! [+] Q | ... any batsman whose shot hits the tree, however, high or low, scores four runs; batsmen cannot be caught off the tree | Q posted by pradeep | Permalink | (4) 4 Comments:Along with the tree goes a unique piece of history. I have seen quite a few of games played in the ground and it was definitely a fun thing to watch fielders running around and stuff. By The Last Blogger, at 7:51 AM I'm sorry, but have they played any LOIs there? all I know is about Lords :) By saranyan r, at 9:08 AM
It is a small ground, so typically LOI's are not staged there..One game was played there during the 1999 World Cup and most times you get to see it if you are vetti enuf to watch county cricket. But Kent has had some great names represent them from Aravinda De Silva to Hooper to Dravid...
Paran, I dont remember watching ODIs either. |
