Q | The survey by market research firm NPD Group found that approximately 1.7 million U.S. households downloaded a song from iTunes in March. That was good enough to earn the store a second-place ranking with peer-to-peer downloading service LimeWire.

just curious... how many songs have you bought on iTunes?

I have paid for none. But courtesy of free songs given by the Pepsi-Apple promotion, I have downloaded 10+ songs. Add to that the weekly free songs Apple puts out. Never paid for a song in iTunes though.
Purchased 50 songs so far, Manoj.
