This has been linked almost from everywhere. News is: Intel Macs are faster than Mac OS X on Dual 2GHz Power Mac G5!

Highlights: 10 seconds boot-up, native Power PC apps run seamlessly on Rosetta (promised during WWDC keynote)

Mac-Intel spec: 3.6 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor with 2 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz front-side bus, 1GB of 533MHz DDR2 Dual Channel SDRAM, and an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900

Waiting to see the price drop if any on the Macs. The price entry point is still huge. For the desktop I recently purchased, an equally configured Mac was 700 odd dollars more expensive. And that is twice the price. Maybe the shift to Intel will do the trick.

If a pixel were to see and interpret things as I do, and should it express, with a dose of my thoughts and afterthoughts; the flavor of such a talk should be close to one that you find on this page. And yes, cricket being my favorite sport, dont be surprised to find one too many related terms. Pad up is one such!
