Unbelievable: Armstrong and his team averaged 57.31 kph over a distance of 67.5 kms (Stage 4, team time trial) !! A record, yes.

Beating "...the highest previous average speed for a Tour de France team time trial of 54.93 kph, clocked by Italian crew Gewiss Ballan over the same distance in 1995"

As an aside, did you read about the multiple dope tests Lance was subjected to?
Its as if the French have something against him.
